What to do with
HEARING AIDS

Hearing aids are not collected as part of your local recycling collection or at household waste and recycling centres. However, they are often collected for charity at a variety of places...
What can I do with them?
Collection points for hearing aids can often be found at:
- Doctors surgeries;
- Hospital audiology departments;
- Private hearing specialists;
- Some charity shops i.e. Help the Aged and Age Concern.
These collections are usually charity based. Donated hearing aids are repaired, refurbished and sent overseas for re-use in developing countries. Batteries for hearing aids are also wanted.
